করোনায় স্বাস্থ্য অধিদফতর স্বীকৃত ২৫,০০০ চিকিৎসকদের সহযোগিতা কার্যক্রম প্রসারিত করছে গ্রামীণফোন।এ কার্যক্রমের আওতায় চিকিৎসকদের ১ টাকা টোকেন মূল্যের বিনিময়ে প্রতি মাসে ৩০ জিবি ইন্টারনেট দেয়ার ঘোষণা দিয়েছে গ্রামীণফোন।এই সুবিধা নির্ধারিত চিকিৎসকদের জন্য আগামী ছয় মাস চলমান থাকবে।আজ শুক্রবার বিকেলে এক অনলাইন সংবাদ সম্মেলনে এ তথ্য জানিয়েছেন গ্রামীণফোনের প্রধান নির্বাহী কর্মকর্তা ইয়াসির আজমান।

Grameenphone has also assessed an increase in data usage in lockdown situations. As the country’s economic activities, business and trade emergency services are based on the Internet. So Grameenphone has announced a 100 percent bonus on all weekly data packs purchased from the MyGP app.
On the other hand, Grameenphone is giving 100 million minutes of free talk time to the customers who could not recharge or had very little balance in April during the Corona disaster. As an emergency service provider, Grameenphone currently charges 48 paise per minute for 7 and a half crore subscribers from 8 am to 12 noon.
Grameenphone retailers continue to play an important role in customer service at this unfavorable time. Thinking of them, Grameenphone has announced a safety-net credit scheme of Rs 10 crore to help the affected retailers during the crisis.
It was informed at the press conference that the joint effort of Grameenphone and BRAC to help the extremely poor people of the country is in progress. Grameenphone has already provided food assistance of Tk 15 crore to 1 lakh families in this program. In addition, Grameenphone has given 50,000 professional PPEs to the hospitals designated by the Department of Health to protect doctors and health workers in dealing with corona.
