গাজীপুরের শ্রীপুর উপজেলায় প্রবাসীর স্ত্রী ও তিন সন্তানকে গলা কে’টে হ’ত্যার ঘটনায় মূলহোতা পারভেজকে (২০) গ্রেফতার করেছে পুলিশ ব্যুরো অব ইনভেস্টিগেশন (পিবিআই)। রোববার (২৬ এপ্রিল) দিবাগত রাতে উপজেলার আবদার এলাকা থেকে তাকে গ্রেফতার করা হয়। গ্রেফতার পারভেজ শ্রীপুর উপজেলার আবদার গ্রামের কাজিম উদ্দিনের ছেলে। পুলিশ ব্যুরো অব ইনভেস্টিগেশনের (পিবিআই) ইন্সপেক্টর হাফিজুর রহমান এ তথ্য নিশ্চিত করেছেন।
The Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) has arrested Mulhota Parvez, 20, for strangling the wife and three children of an expatriate in Sreepur upazila of Gazipur. He was arrested from Abdar area of the upazila on Sunday (April 26) night. The arrested Parvez is the son of Kazim Uddin of Abdar village in Sreepur upazila. Inspector Hafizur Rahman of the Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) confirmed the information.
He said Parvez was arrested from Abdar area of Sreepur. Under interrogation, Parvez confessed to the m’urder. On the basis of the confession, blood stained clothes, mobile phone from underground, three necklaces, earrings and looted gold ornaments were recovered from his house. A few people took part in the incident with him. Details will be announced later at a press conference, he said. Meanwhile, before killing four members of the same family in Abdar area, Parvez allegedly killed a seven-year-old child named Neelima on February 22, 2018 by hitting her on the head and suffocating her.
A case was also filed against Parvez in this incident. Considering his age, Parvez was released on bail from the High Court. After being released on bail, he continued to intimidate and threaten the family of Shishu Nilima to withdraw the case. If the case is not withdrawn, Parvez and his family members will beat them up and leave the area. In this regard, on 28 August 2018, Parvez, his father Kazim Uddin, mother deleted than security. Shishu Nilima’s father Hasan alias Falan made a general diary (GD) at Sreepur police station mentioning the names of Kamrunnahar and Abul Kalam.
Redwan Hossain Kajal, an expatriate from Abdar area, was arrested in connection with the m’urder of his wife and three children. He also has a relationship with drug trafficking. Harun Aur Rashid, a resident of the area, said locals used to avoid him due to his drug involvement and mischievous behavior. Family members said they could not bring him back in a good way despite many efforts. Police recovered the decapitated bodies of a mother, two daughters and a son from a house in Jainabazar area of Sreepur upazila in Gazipur on Thursday afternoon. On Wednesday night, miscreants slit the throats of four people and killed them. The deceased were identified as Smriti Akter Fatema, 45, wife of Redwan Hossain Kajal, an expatriate from Abdar area, his eldest daughter Sabrina Sultana Noora, 16, youngest daughter Haorin Hawa, 12, and disabled son Fadil, 8.
