জেনে নিন কিভাবে করবেন ই-পাসপোর্ট !!

প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনা বঙ্গবন্ধু আন্তর্জাতিক সম্মেলন কেন্দ্রে আগামী ২২ জানুয়ারি ই-পাসপোর্ট কার্যক্রম উদ্বোধন করবেন। এরপর থেকে রাজধানীর আগারগাঁও, উত্তরা ও যাত্রাবাড়ী থেকে ই-পাসপোর্ট সরবরাহ করা হবে। রবিবার (১৯ জানুয়ারি) সচিবালয়ে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে স্বরাষ্ট্রমন্ত্রী আসাদুজ্জামান খান কামাল এসব তথ্য জানিয়েছেন।

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate e-passport program on January 22 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center. From then on, e-passports will be provided from Agargaon, Uttara and Jatrabari in the capital. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said this at a press conference at the Secretariat on Sunday (January 5th).

The e-passport application form should be filled according to the National Identity Card (NID) or Birth Certificate (BRC). Applicant who is not an adult (under 18) who does not have National Identity Card (NID), his / her parent’s National Identity Number (NID) must be specified. For Bangladesh applicants, the 48-page 5-year general fee is Tk 3500, the emergency fee is Tk 5500 and the emergency fee is Tk 7500 and the 10-year general fee is Tk 5000, the emergency fee is Tk 7000 and the emergency fee is Tk 9000. Besides, for Bangladesh applicants, the five-page five-year general fee is Tk 5500, emergency fee Tk 7500 and emergency emergency Tk 10500 and 10-year general fee Tk 7000, emergency fee Tk 9000 and emergency emergency fee Tk 1200.

It is learned that in case of urgent passport, 3 days in case of emergency, 7 days in emergency and 21 days in case of general passport application will be available. However, in case of re-issue of old or expired passport, urgent passport will be given within 2 days, emergency passport 3 days and general passport within 7 days. Besides, different e-passport fees have been fixed for general applicants, workers and students at Bangladesh Embassy abroad.

The 48-page 5-year general fee is $ 100 and the emergency fee is $ 150 for general applicants at the Bangladesh Embassy located abroad. The 10-year general fee is set at $ 125 and the emergency fee is $ 175. In addition, 64-page 5-year general fee of US $ 150 and emergency fee of US $ 200 and 10-year general fee of US $ 175 and emergency fee of US $ 225 have been levied for general applicants at Bangladesh Embassy abroad.
