দেশের সরকারি প্রাথমিক বিদ্যালয়ের সহকারী শিক্ষক নিয়োগে ১৪ জেলার ঘোষিত ফলাফল ছয় মাসের জন্য স্থগিত করে দিয়েছে হাইকোর্ট। নিয়োগে কোটা সংক্রান্ত বিধি অনুসরণ না করে ফলাফল প্রকাশের দাবি করে নিয়োগবঞ্চিত ৪৬ জনের করা রিটের প্রাথমিক শুনানি নিয়ে বিচারপতি শেখ হাসান আরিফের নেতৃত্বাধীন হাইকোর্ট বেঞ্চ এই আদেশ দেন।
The High Court has suspended the declared results of 14 districts for six months for the appointment of assistant teachers of government primary schools in the country. The High Court bench, headed by Justice Sheikh Hasan Arif, ordered the preliminary hearing of the 46-member writ petition demanding the release of results without following quota norms.

The districts where the fruits have been suspended are Patuakhali, Madaripur, Sirajganj, Naogaon, Chapainawabganj, Habiganj, Mymensingh, Netrokona, Noakhali, Jessore, Satkhira, Tangail, Barguna and Thakurgaon. In this regard, lawyer Asad Uddin said, “Section 7 of the Government Primary Teacher Recruitment Rules 2013 states that 60 per cent of the direct recruitment posts under this rule will be filled with female candidates, 20 per cent senior candidates and the remaining 20 per cent male candidates. But the rules were not followed in the results announced on December 24. As a result, the writ petition was made seeking remedy and challenging the validity of the result. The court issued a preliminary hearing and suspended the results of 14 districts. ”Earlier, on December 24, the results of the oral examination of the assistant teachers of primary and public education ministry were selected by 18,147 candidates.
