মাত্র পাওয়া খবরঃ বাতিল করা হল সেই জি কে শামিমের ১০টি সরকারি চুক্তি !!
ক্যাসিনো বিরোধী অভিযানের সময় আটক জি কে শামিমের প্রতিষ্ঠান জি কে বিল্ডার্সের সাথে করা ১০টি সরকারি নির্মাণ চুক্তি বাতিল করা হয়েছে। এই ১২ চুক্তির মধ্যে সচিবালয়ের নতুন ভবন নির্মাণ, জাতীয় রাজস্ব বোর্ডের নতুন ভবন নির্মাণসহ আরো নানা হেভিওয়েট প্রকল্প ছিল। রবিবার (১৬ ফেব্রুয়ারি) চুক্তি বাতিলের কথা ঘোষণা করা হয়। জিকে শামিম সঙ্গে সম্পৃক্ততার অভিযোগে জাতীয় গৃহায়ণ কর্তৃপক্ষের(এনএইচএ) পাঁচ প্রকৌশলীকে নোটিশ দিয়েছে দুর্নীতি দমন কমিশন(দুদক)। প্রকৌশলীদের বর্তমান পদবী, কর্মস্থল, স্থায়ী ও বর্মমান ঠিকানা, জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের নম্বার পাসপোর্ট ও মোবাইল নম্বার চেয়েছে দুদক। সুষ্ঠু অনুসন্ধান ও তদন্তের স্বার্থে উল্লিখিত তথ্যাদি তদন্ত দলের প্রধান সংস্থাটির পরিচালক-২, সৈয়দ ইকবাল হোসেন এর দপ্তরে পাঠানোর জন্য বলা হয়েছে। যে সব প্রৗেশলীর তথ্যাদি চাওয়া হয়েছে তারা হলেন নির্বাহী প্রকৌশলী মুনিফ আহমে কাওছার মোর্শেদ, আশরাফুজ্জামান পলাশ,উপবিভাগীয় প্রকৌশলী শেখ সোহেল রানা এবং ডিপ্লোমা প্রকৌশলী রাদিউজ্জামান।
এ বিষয়ে প্রকৌশলী কাওছার মোর্শেদ বলেন, আমার সঙ্গে জিকে শামিমের কোন দিন দেখাও হয় নি। আর নোটিশ করেছে তাও শুনিনি। আমার মনে হচ্ছে কোথাও ভুলবুঝাবুঝি হচ্ছে। দুদক উদ্দেশ্যমূলকভাবে এই নোটিশ করেছে। অপর প্রকৌশলী শেখ সোহেল রানা বলেন, আমার লেভেলে কোন কাজই ছিলো না জিকে শামিমের। সুতরাং এই নোটিশ কেন করা হলে বুঝিনা। গত ২০ সেপ্টেম্বর রাজধানীর নিকেতন এলাকা থেকে শামীম ও তার দেহরক্ষীদের আটক করে র্যাব। শামীমের ব্যবসায়িক কার্যালয়ে অভিযান চালিয়ে বিপুল পরিমাণ মদ, আটটি আগ্নেয়াস্ত্র, নগদ এক কোটি ৮০ লাখ টাকা ও ১৬৫ কোটি টাকার এফডিআর ও বিদেশি মুদ্রা জব্দ করা হয়। বর্তমানে সে একাধিক মামলার আসামী হিসেবে কারান্তরীন।
The 10 government construction contracts with GK builders of GK Shamim, arrested during anti-casino operations, have been canceled. The 12 contracts included construction of new secretariat buildings, construction of new buildings of the National Board of Revenue and other heavyweight projects. The deal was announced on Sunday (February 16). The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has given notice to five engineers of the National Housing Authority (NHA) for alleged involvement with GK Shamim. The ACC sought the current designation of engineers, workplace, permanent and current address, national passport number and mobile number. In the interest of proper inquiry and investigation, the information has been asked to be sent to the office of Syed Iqbal Hossain, Director-2 of the main body of the Investigation Team. The most pressing information sought are Executive Engineer Munif Ahmed Kawasar Morshed, Ashrafuzzaman Palash, Sub-Divisional Engineer Sheikh Sohail Rana and Diploma Engineer Radiuzzaman.
Engineer Kausar Morshed said, “I have never met GK Shamim. And didn’t even notice. I think there is a misunderstanding somewhere. The ACC purposefully made this notice. Another engineer, Sheikh Sohail Rana, said, GK Shamim had no job at my level. So I do not understand why this notice was made. RAB arrested Shamim and his bodyguards from the Niketan area of the capital on September 20. A large amount of liquor, eight firearms, Tk 8.8 million in cash and FDR and foreign currency worth Tk 165 crore were seized during a raid at Shamim’s business office. Currently, he is incarcerated as a defendant in multiple cases.
On the other hand, Md. Ashraful Alam, Assistant Secretary of the National Housing Authority, was transferred to Bogra on December 8 under Dinajpur division. Dinajpur Division Executive Engineer Morshed Mahmud Chowdhury told the authorities on December 29 that the employee did not attend the relocation. In this regard, Md. Ashraful Alam said that those who do CBA and are working in responsible positions have no provision for transfer outside Dhaka. The law has been passed in the Parliament. On the other hand, the agency’s office assistant Rakibuzzaman was transferred to Bogra on the same order of 8 December but he did not join the shifted workplace.
Several officials of the company said there is a class of employees who think of themselves as the best. Tell them what they are all about. They regularly report on the general staff. Many behave indecently with the officials. Many officers do not disclose it because of self-respect. An employee was earlier transferred to Comilla, but he has not signed office but he has a signature in the department. In the eyes of the chairman of the company, he ordered the employee to be absent and to pay his salary. The company has been accused of harassing various plot owners or flat owners in various ways.
