হচ্ছে না লকডাউন – সরিয়ে ফেলা হল সব তথ্য !!

রাজধানীর বিভিন্ন স্থানে এবং দেশের নানা জেলা ও উপজেলা পর্যায়ে এলাকাভিত্তিক লকডাউনের প্রস্তাব এখনো অনুমোদন হয়নি। এ সংক্রান্ত প্রস্তাবনা সরকারিভাবে অনুমোদন না হওয়া পর্যন্ত কোনো এলাকাই লকডাউন হচ্ছে না। এমনটি জানিয়েছেন স্বাস্থ্য অধিদফতরের মহাপরিচালক অধ্যাপক ডা. আবুল কালাম আজাদ।

Proposals for area-based lockdowns in different parts of the capital and at various district and upazila levels of the country have not been approved yet. No area is being locked down until the proposal is officially approved. This was stated by the Director General of the Department of Health, Prof. Abul Kalam Azad.

On Sunday (June 7) evening, he said, a meeting was held on Saturday. At the meeting, it was proposed to lock down two places in Dhaka city and three districts of the country on an experimental basis to address the Corona situation in the country. However, the proposal was not officially approved until Sunday evening. So it is not possible to say for sure when the lockdown will start.

He said that the information given in a website titled www.corona.gov.bd about lockdowns in different places and different districts of Dhaka has already been removed from the website. Earlier on Saturday, the news of the lockdown was published in several media outlets with the information of that website, causing confusion and panic in the minds of the people. However, the concerned authorities could not confirm any information in this regard.
