এবার ঢাকা ছাড়ল মালদ্বীপের ৭১ নাগরিক !!

বাংলাদেশ বিমানবাহিনীর (বিএএফ) একটি বিমান করোনা ভা’ইরাসের কারণে আটকা পড়া মালদ্বীপের ৭১ নাগরিকসহ দেশটিতে সংক্রমিত বাংলাদেশিদের চিকিৎসা দেয়ার জন্য সশস্ত্র বাহিনীর ১০ সদস্যের মেডিকেল টিম নিয়ে ঢাকা ত্যাগ করেছে। সোমবার (২০ এপ্রিল) বিমান বাহিনীর সহকারী চিফ অব স্টাফ (অপারেশনস) এয়ার ভাইস মার্শাল এম আবুল বাশার, ঢাকায় মালদ্বীপের রাষ্ট্রদূত আয়েশ শান শাকির প্রমুখ এ সময় উপস্থিত ছিলেন। ১৫ জন বিএএফ এয়ার ক্রু নিয়ে গঠিত মিশনের নেতৃত্বে দিচ্ছেন গ্রুপ ক্যাপ্টেন এনামুল হক।

Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) has left Dhaka with a 10-member medical team to treat infected Bangladeshis in the country, including 71 Maldivian people trapped by the Corona virus. On Monday (April 20), Assistant Chief of Staff of Operations (Operations) Air Vice Marshal M Abul Bashar, Maldives Ambassador to Dhaka Aish Shan Shaki, was present during the meeting. Group Captain Enamul Haque is leading the mission comprising 15 BAF air crews.

Assistant Director of ISPR. Noor Islam said that Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Sarniabat, the chief of the Bangladesh Air Force, gave the necessary direction to carry out the mission. Bangladesh Air Force C-130J aircraft left Dhaka with 71 Maldives citizens.

She said they were transported from Dhaka to Maldives as a friendship guide for the Bangladesh government. By BAF transport aircraft and helicopters, Maldivian residents gathered in Dhaka from Chittagong, Barisal, Comilla and Chandpur. The mission also has a medical team of the Armed Forces to help treat Bangladeshi co’ronav’irus patients living in the Maldives.
