দুঃখজনক হলেও সত্য, দেশের পুলিশ বাহিনী নিয়ে অভিযোগের শেষ নেই। আইনশৃঙ্খলা রক্ষা ও সমাজ থেকে অপরাধ নির্মূলের লক্ষ্যে দায়িত্ব পালন করার কথা থাকলেও পুলিশ নিজেই জড়িয়ে পড়ছে নানা অপরাধমূলক কর্মকাণ্ডে।
Sadly, the allegations about the police force in the country are not over. Police are involved in various criminal activities, though they are supposed to fulfill the duty of law and order to eliminate crime from society. Police personnel are not the only ones who are busy catching thieves. Some think of social responsibility as well as suppression of evil. One such example is Rishra Police Station OC Praveer Dutt. Taking time out of work, he has been teaching self-taught school students in the area selflessly.
For the last 6 months, the municipality has been studying silently in a room at the police station. Right now there are 3 students studying regularly. Some are ninth grade, some are tenth. Some are in Serampore, some are in Rishya. Prabir Babu showed them digits, physical science and life sciences.
About this, Prabir Babu said that his wife Sanchita also contributed to this work. He also taught them numbers. Besides, police constable Monica Bisui and Civic Volunteer Debashis Das took time out and showed the students other issues. Every Sunday and Wednesday from 8am to 5pm.
In the study, Purabi Raut, a student of Rishara Girls’ School, has now finished in ninth grade to tenth. Apart from the books available from the school, all their study materials, including books, booklets, pens are provided from the police station. Not only that, arrangements have been made to teach them recitation, dance, drawing and karate without any charge. Reading Sabita, Koel, Abhira said that they want to show something.
