রবিবার থেকে খুলছে গার্মেন্টস কারখানা, যা বলছে বিজিএমইএ !!

করোনা ভা’ইরাসের ঝুঁকির মধ্যেই রবিবার থেকে ধাপে ধাপে খুলছে গার্মেন্টস কারখানা। আজ শনিবার ব্যবসায়ীদের শীর্ষ সংগঠন এফবিসিসিআইতে এক সভায় এ সিদ্ধান্ত হয়েছে। এর পর সন্ধ্যায় গার্মেন্টস কারখানা খোলার বিষয়টি অবহিত করে তৈরি পোশাক শিল্প মালিকদের সংগঠন বিজিএমইএ শ্রম ও কর্মসংস্থান মন্ত্রণালয়ের সচিবকে চিঠি পাঠিয়েছেন। একই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়েছে পোশাক শিল্প মালিকদের অপর সংগঠন বিকেএমইএ। এর পর শ্রম মন্ত্রণালয় স্বাস্থ্য বিধি মেনে কারখানা চালু করার জন্য একটি নির্দেশনা জারি করে।

The garment factory is opening step by step from Sunday amid the risk of corona virus. The decision was taken at a meeting at the FBCCI, the apex body of traders, on Saturday. Later in the evening, BGMEA, an association of garment industry owners, sent a letter to the secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Employment informing them of the opening of the garment factory. BKMEA, another association of garment industry owners, has taken the same decision. The Ministry of Labor then issued a directive to start the factory in compliance with the health rules.

According to the decision of BGMEA, knitting, dyeing and sampling factories will be set up in Narayanganj area besides Dhaka metropolitan area on Sunday and Monday. Factories in Ashulia, Savar, Dhamrai and Manikganj will be opened from April 28 to 30, Rupganj, Narsingdi, Kanchpur area on April 30, Gazipur and Mymensingh area on May 2 and 3. In case of opening of the factory, 30 per cent of the production capacity will be introduced at the beginning. It will be gradually increased.

The BJMEA requested that the factory be reopened with the help of workers around the factory and that all workers be paid in April. Workers who are far away from the factory area are now asked not to be called to the workplace and not to lay off workers.
